You may think there is a river that connects the Great Lakes to the Atlantic. Well, that is no longer the case, because it was decided in Cornwall that all water from the lakes that usually flows into the River will be redirected to the USA!
I literally am just learning today that there is a US-Canadian group in Cornwall that decides who is getting water from Ontario lake and who isn’t. Wow.
That’s why the Saint-Lawrence River no longer exists as we know it and there are tomatoes plantations naturally appearing in the middle of the river bed in Montreal where the water used to be due to sewage water drying up as well and, look at that, it fuels crazy growth of new little toxic species, and new ecosystems from hell in places where used to be water.
I’ve been looking at new land all summer all over the Laurentians. All the lakes are dead. Many riverbeds look like sand deserts.
And so on October 18, this same authority will EXCEPTIONALLY allow some water to flow into the river to unblock the gazillion boats that are stuck in the mud. What a bunch of egregious assholes.
may wanna spend some time looking at the hundreds of other related articles on this “unexplained” water shortage of the summer.

PS: now you know why we need to put the nuclear reactors on the Moon. Bécancour is literally where the reactors are supposed to go and there is like zero water right now. Can I make a prediction about the Moon. Yeah, my eye
