I wanted someone to sing to me like Frank Sinatra, so I made this song. Actually I made half an album at this point. Snow footage from past winters (2022-2024) filmed in ON and QC, including Niagara Falls, Verdun Beach, Quebec City, Ontario Lake, St-Lawrence River, Montreal Island Lanes, Via Rail and Canadian Airspace. Scientists predicted the Canada droughts and governments ignored all the warnings

We heard yesterday that Waterloo is pausing residential developments due to inexistent water capacity, however a quick check revealed that Waterloo continues assembling land for a large industrial site in Wilmot Township. Same shit is going on in Quebec with Microsoft data centers and the empty Hydro reservoirs. Right now we import electricity from the USA.

C’est tellement décourageant!

Here are several links indicating that scientists predicted the water crisis in Canada as early as 2006, but governments completely ignored (and continue to ignore) science and approved (and continue to approve) water guzzling projects. Based on this willful blindness and recklessness, all I can say is that we’re about to go extinct before 2030. We won’t have time to sue anyone, because we’re all going to die, before the cases proceed. We’re effed!!!!!!!!!!

What is the point of a million warnings only so governments and corporations can simply ignore them. The future is not happening.

A Little Bird Told Me – Water Sessions

Filmed in spring 2025 following a flash-rainstorm that caught me by surprise while out on a run. I’ve never run so fast to the top of the mountain. When I was fully drenched, the skies cleared. So I stopped to dry in the sun and this bird came to me. The footage glitches like a filter at moments, because my phone was soaked, one of the back-cameras was filled with water…  

These are two tracks written for this same event, flamenco-fusion and hypnotic dirty south loops, modeled after this bird’s moves and swag, and merged in a water ritual. I’ve been doing quite a few of these rituals since the Santeria event. And the French versions are even crazier.
