This would be another summer destination in the North. Auyuittuq is in Nunavut near the northeastern flank of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, and it is also accessible through Labrador which is accessible from Quebec. When it comes to Nunavut in general, beware of bugs when going inland. The arctic mosquito populations there are particularly voracious and in excessive numbers because they have zero natural predators all while being perfectly adapted to the freezing winters. They thrive even more in the ever warmer summers. Near the ocean with strong winds, there areless mosquitos. Often, people tape their entire exposed skin when going fishing along with bees-keeper equipment.
