Auyuittuq National Park

This would be another summer destination in the North. Auyuittuq is in Nunavut near the northeastern flank of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, and it is also accessible through Labrador which is accessible from Quebec. The sun started setting again shortly in mid-july, right now it is between 10 and 11pm for three hours. The place is geologically part of the eastern edge of the Canadian Shield extending over Nunavut and Labrador.

When it comes to Nunavut in general, beware of bugs when going inland. The arctic mosquito populations there are particularly voracious and in excessive numbers because they have zero natural predators all while being perfectly adapted to the freezing winters. They thrive even more in the ever warmer summers. Near the ocean with strong winds, there would be less mosquitos. Often, people would tape their entire exposed skin when going fishing along with bees-keeper equipment.
