Producing life is of course amazing in an ideal theoretical optimal world that currently doesn’t exist.
In a patriarchal, medico-mysogynist, capitalistic profit-driven regime, producing new life is the last thing one should do with a reproductive system. It is NOT in the best interest of children to be born in such a regime, because it equates to a voluntary perpetuation of slavery and capitalism.
Limiting the reproductive system to the mere production of life without properly taking care and nourishing the system itself is the reason why people will always have abortions, or as the recent trend shows, more and more young people avoid having physical sex altogether.
Medicine is focused on making senile guys sexually active while damaging the younger ones with anti-depressants and adhd meds to support their role as work-slaves. Of course nobody is happy.
Capitalism has usurped people’s instincts. In a normal ideal world, women would never go for the guys they date at the moment, they would pick much younger and healthier partners, rather than financially stable dudes. The reproductive system (when left to itself) can inform you about many things, it feels for example whether genetics in a partner are viable for reproduction or whether abortion should be scheduled. The part that produces life is like a machine, that’s why anyone can get pregnant especially when they don’t want it. I’ve personally given it a long reflection and I am convinced that it is the least-“smart” function of the reproductive system. I’m near certain that our reproductive systems are the basis of intuition and predictive abilities.
Medicine never focused on women, so we’re the only experts over our bodies.
It is fascinating, because every time I see a disconnect between intent and biology, it tells me there is something artificial in the mix. I can’t say for sure if “intent” itself has been hijacked by the regime (mainly by the imposition of conflicting duties) or if the “baby machine/print press” itself is artificially inserted in our biology which would imply that there are different methods for procreating that we don’t know about – that would be science fiction, but how else can you explain that we get pregnant from the worst possible individuals and the ones we want to remain pregnant with panic and escape because they are broke and stressed out… WTF
I see a trend to blame women for low birthrate, but the reality is that men are more averse to babies than women, unless they want to exercise control over independent women. Pregnancies are often used as a strategy to lock down a woman, make her lose her livelihood, and terrorize her until she basically kills herself. None of that comes from a love for babies. Just saying. If the birthing game was left entirely up to women, and sufficient resources are made available to bring up children without relying on controlling toxic individuals, there would be less abortions.
PS. People who counter the argument with “yeah, but I have a baby and it’s the most wonderful thing” are not wrong, but they speak from pure privilege and likely a temporary situation that is inaccessible to the vast majority of human beings. They can’t speak for the rest of us. They truly live in a utopia. For now at least.
This is hell after all. When you start advertising your “happiness” all while ignoring the ridiculous pain you had to go through, including the fact that your body is no longer attractive to your partner and he is 100% cheating on you, it is like consenting to pointless pain, so something is guaranteed to come back and bite you in the behind.
Family law’s body of caselaw is proof that the world we’re living in is hostile to the “production of life” in the current regime. Once life is produced in a relationship, the so called love progressively evaporates. Humans don’t last very long as life-producing couples. They always end up hating each other.
Update (2d): we need to change the name of the so called reproductive system to something more representative, such as “life-sustaining system”. It is literally what keeps humans alive through life. The current obsession with other people’s birthing business is what actually pointed me in that direction.. Otherwise the feudalistic pro-birth propaganda wouldn’t be so absurd and so insistent.
